Description
This bolt-in roll cage is specially developed for the Peugeot 106 and entirely produced in-house from high-quality 25CrMo4 steel. Each cage is developed based on a 3D scan of the body, which ensures a neat fit. It isn't fully welded. Only the reinforcement plates are welded in, while the cage itself is bolted. This makes installation faster, and the cage can be removed if necessary.
Do you compete on circuit or in rallies under FIA requirements? Then an approved partner from the VA Fabrication Installation Network will install the cage, including FIA documentation. Are you doing a trackday or building a project car without certification requirements? Then you will receive the cage as a complete kit, and you can install it yourself or through a workshop of your choice.
Installation options
Can't decide between a bolt-in and a weld-in roll cage? A weld-in roll cage is stiffer because the entire structure is welded in place. A bolt-in roll cage is largely bolted together, faster to install, and can be removed when needed. Which installation route you choose depends on the car's use and whether you need FIA certification.

This route is for circuit and rally drivers with an FIA homologation requirement. An approved partner from the VA Fabrication Installation Network installs the roll cage, according to fixed procedures and with technical support from VA Fabrication. This guarantees installation quality and provides valid FIA documentation. This ensures seamless integration between engineering, production, and installation.
- Self-assembly
This route is for track day drivers and project cars without a certification requirement. You receive a complete bolt-in kit including mounting hardware and instructions. You can install it yourself or through a workshop of your choice. Please note: with this route, no FIA certification is issued.
Construction and specifications
A bolt-in roll cage isn't fully welded. Only the reinforcement plates are welded into the body; the cage itself is secured with bolts. Each cage is developed based on a 3D scan of the body, which ensures a neat fit without the long lead time of full custom work.
Do you want the cage ready for use immediately? We powder coat it beforehand in a colour of your choice. This way, the car no longer needs to be painted inside after assembly, which saves a lot of time and hassle.
